An afternoon well spent.

Earlier today, I assisted my mentor Anna Wu, for a ballet photo shoot in Pacific Heights in San Francisco. Afterwards, I headed to Twin Peaks to catch the amazing views I always hear people talking about. It really was great, and definitely not a hike like Mission peak. It was only about twenty stairs up, the city was simply amazing today. There was also a fantastic street artist in the parking lot by Twin Peaks. He spray paints galaxies and cosmos with the city skyline. I had to buy one, i'll post a photo of it sometime soon. And lastly, the sunset on the way back home, after the bay bridge.

Mission Peak

On presidents day, I took a hike with a few close friends up the East Bay trail of mission peak. Here are a few shots from the very top. 360 degrees of beautiful scenery.

More of a favorite place!

Some more photos from whenever I visit my parents land in Sunol. This is the beautiful view of my short walk, and our neighbors horse, Pebbles. Well, I don't know the horses name. But I like the name "Pebbles" a horse.

Goodmorning sunshine, the earth says hello!

These are a few sunrise photos that I had taken a while ago, I don't know why I haven't posted any of these yet!

Dusk in Sunol.

These are taken at and around the land in Sunol that my parents own. I love this place, it's secluded, quiet and everywhere around is so beautiful.

and I'm planning on shooting in film again sometime soon with my canon. Can't wait!

Film Filters

These photos are more for artistic trial. I recently downloaded some film filters for digital photos, and I decided to try them out with these photos I took last week in Livermore.
So far, I'm liking them.

Holiday Rush.

Happy New Year! I can't believe that it is already 2012. This year went by so quickly, I've learned a lot about myself and the people around me. And of course, I am blessed and incredibly thankful for all the loving people I have in my life. I'm so sorry that I have not been able to post within the last ten days! The holidays were extremely busy, but all worth-while. I love being surrounded by family and close friends, not to mention the break from school! Last Night being New Year's Eve, there was a GORGEOUS sunset, the last one of 2011. I drove up the hill that I live on to capture this beautiful sight.

And as I came home, the colors became even more vibrant. 2011 left an AMAZING impression.

Christmas was wonderful as well! I thought I'd share the family christmas card my mother sent out. I dressed up my doggies, and photographed them in our front yard, then designed this. They reminded me of grumpy little kids that their mother made them wear dumb clothes. Oh well, its cute!

Oh, and here's a picture from Christmas morning of my brother and I. Clearly, I wasn't ready for the timer to go off. Haha, but this day was filled with pure enjoyment.

The city by the bay

San Francisco weather always provides the best lighting for photos, I love overcast!

So, I had sadly cracked my LCD screen on my camera, thus leading to my lack of posts this week. But I will make do with some older pictures that I have. Here are a series of architectural photos from Las Vegas.

Skylines.

It's crazy how beautiful the bay area really is. And we often tend to take our scenery for granted. So maybe one day, stop and look at your surroundings, maybe you'll find some sort of beauty even in the most ugliest places. These two shots were only a few blocks away from my house, it was just a quick walk up the hill.

And going through my camera, I saw this shot I took in Las Vegas during September after a desert lighting storm. Behind the glitz and glamour that the Strip holds, just a mile down, you can catch one of the most beautiful and majestic sunsets around.
