Eclipse 2012

The annular solar eclipse was amazing! I got to take a few photos of the amazing sight. Though it was too bright to see with the naked eye, I used my dads' old welding helmet to see what you see in these photos. It was spectacular. There's just something so majestic and incredible about seeing an eclipse. I'm located in a part of California, where we don't fully see the "ring of fire"(when the moon is in the center of the sun). But, it was still really a great thing to experience. Even the shadows were casted in a different way.

For this photo, I unfocused my camera towards the end of the eclipse, and The sun came out as a heart!

Pacific Fund Award Event

I recently had won a prize for a photo I had taken for Asian Pacific funds. The photo had to represent "bridges" in Asian America. I am incredibly grateful to Sandeep Gill and Jessica Jong for being my models for this project and showing interracial "bridges" as a couple. The award ceremony was held this weekend at the Asian Art museum of San Fransisco. After the ceremony, we had free access to the entire museum. It was lovely! I had won multiple other tickets to museums in the bay area as well, so stay tuned for that!

The display was placed at the Asian Art Museum and will go on tour through 50 main local libraries.

Tis the season!

Prom season! I recently helped someone ask a girl to prom! It was so creative, the group pretended to be old english newspaper boys, throwing around newspapers filled with "Prom".

Thomas First Birthday!

I recently had the pleasure of shooting a birthday party for an adorable little toddler named Thomas! It was his first birthday and had a wonderfully cute theme of "old western goldrush cowboys!"
